Each unit has individual facilities on offer including wi-fi access, a cinema room, hairdressing and other services. An array of daily social activities are provided to keep residents active such as arts & crafts, baking & cooking, dancing and music, exercise and fitness classes, gardening and flower arranging, film nights and many more.
The wonderful facilities at Acton Care Centre make a world of difference to our residents. Whether it’s chatting in the cafe, pottering around the garden or enjoying the peace and quiet of the lounge, there really is a favourite place for everyone.
At every stage in life, maintaining your physical and mental health is important. A dedicated Activities Co-ordinator creates a daily activity program, in conjunction with residents requests and personal areas of interest. These can be scheduled throughout the day to encourage participation for all and to create a fun family environment.
Independent activity, hobbies and day-to-day tasks can boost an individuals’ self-confidence and as part of our person-centered care, we adapt this each individual. Our homes take pride in arranging special activities including birthdays or special milestones, religious celebrations, national days of celebration and events.
The local communities support us in maintaining an active healthy lifestyle within each home and we develop relationships to promote socialising, mobility, interaction, independence and self-confidence.

Guests are welcome to join you for a meal (for a nominal charge) by prior arrangement. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in our dining areas.
Our care homes do not have a permanent facility for visitors to stay overnight. However, there may be circumstances when the management would like to/need to accommodate a stay. Each request will be considered on a case by case basis.
