Hometouch is one of the most trusted providers of live-in care across the nation. Our CEO and Founder is a psychiatrist specialising in dementia. We have an experienced, knowledgeable nursing team, assuring you of the highest quality of care for your loved one – we are rated ‘good in all areas’ by the CQC and are rated 4.9/5 stars on Trustpilot.
We have packages of live-in care to suit all budgets and all care needs.
WebsiteFree ConsultationHometouch is one of the few providers able to offer both Introductory and Regulated/Fully managed live-in care. This means that if your care needs increase from Introductory care, you can seamlessly switch to our regulated/fully managed care, retaining your original carer and account manager without having to move to a different provider and start over.
We have many more carers to find the perfect carer for you – We own the largest UK database of live-in carers! Our rates start at just £995 per week.
Our friendly, knowledgeable team will discuss your loved one’s care needs with you, help to answer any questions you may have and support you to determine if introductory or regulated/fully managed live-in care is the best fit for you. We will also gain an understanding of what your perfect carer may be ie. Any special interests you may have, likes/dislikes as we have many carers to choose from.
Our team will contact you with great carer profiles, utilising our matching technology, having considered both your loved one’s health needs and also their interests, likes/dislikes. We have many carers available so are sure to find you your perfect carer!
We will arrange for you to meet each proposed carer via a video call and as soon as you are completely happy with your choice of carer, we can commence your live-in care.
Dr Wilson’s background is as a NHS dementia specialist and the clinical team comprises nurses, care managers, a clinical governance manager and learning disability specialist that run a fully managed service to ensure the complex needs of our patients are met. We also offer an introductory live in care service for those with less complex needs.
We work by carefully selecting a handful of our carers who are extensively vetted and ideally fitted to the role. Carers undergo an extensive vetting and training process.
You can find out more details in our Care Guide which outlines what is unique about Hometouch.
In December 2022, we were awarded “Good” in our CQC report across all areas of our service and we are proud to share such a positive description of what Hometouch provides.
We work with many hospital discharge teams and are therefore experienced in commencing care urgently, often within 24-48 hours if needed.
Introductory care is more suitable for clients who have low-level care needs or for those wishing to manage the care package themselves on a daily basis. Regulated care is suitable for all levels of care needs, being ideal for clients who either would prefer not to manage the care package themselves or for clients wanting or needing clinical expertise to manage the full care package on a daily basis. All regulated care is governed by The CQC (Care Quality Commission). Hometouch is rated good in all areas by The CQC, providing you with peace of mind of a high-quality service. Our Clinical Leads complete regular visits to our clients in their own homes to review care packages and identify any changes needed to the care being delivered. Our Accounts Team maintain regular contact with our clients, family members and carers to ensure the highest level of care is provided. You will have your own named Account Manager and Clinical Lead for you to contact with any questions or concerns throughout the duration of your care journey.
