Putting client happiness at the centre of everything we do – We believe everyone should be able to live life to the full regardless of age or disability. For us, this means not only looking after your physical needs, but also taking care of your emotional wellbeing.
Our approach to care centres on client happiness and our main aim is to help those we care for stay independent for as long as possible.
We think care begins with respecting and responding to the choices our clients make about their support. We work closely with you, and those closest to you – getting to know you really well, so that we understand your unique requirements.
We create a personalised care plan, in partnership with you, which supports and promotes the quality of life you want to achieve.
Peace of mind for family and friends – We understand that in many situations, providing care for a loved one yourself isn’t always possible. You may have your own family commitments with young children or work. You may not live close by or perhaps you don’t have sufficient training or aren’t physically able.
We can be there when you can’t, providing the support you need to ease the pressure and the assurance that your loved one is in safe, professional, caring hands.
Person-centred care at its best – We see ourselves as a ‘people’ business as much as a ‘care’ business. This is why our care packages are completely flexible and built around the precise and individual needs of every single client.
Care designed exclusively around you – The things that are important to you, matter to us. We work closely with you and your family, taking time to understand your needs, wishes and personal preferences, so that your care reflects your choices. We get to know exactly how and when you like things to be done, before we begin our visits. We value your independence as much as you do and will actively promote and encourage this as much as possible.
Timed visits to fit in with your way of life – We find most people have a daily routine and weekly plans, so we make sure each care visit takes place at the pre-arranged time we agree with you, and not within a ‘time slot’ spanning a few hours. This way, our visits simply become part of your routine.
Continuity of care staff, to make you feel at ease – We understand the personal nature of having someone to help with your care – and why it’s nicer to have the same person for each care visit. We do everything possible to ensure that you see the same care staff, so that you can feel completely relaxed in their company – because, that’s really important. We also take great care to match care staff with clients based on their personalities, so that you spend time with someone you like and get on well with.
Reliability – We know our clients depend on us to assist with their daily living and often with essential medication. We have the resources, systems and sufficient care staff in place to reliably manage all care visits and respond quickly to any unforeseen events. We allow plenty of time between care visits and will always contact you if we are at risk of being late due to circumstances beyond our control.
Responsive to change – We understand that your circumstances may change, and that’s fine. We simply adapt your care plan to suit your changing needs as and when required.
Fully flexible – Regular care visits can take place daily – several times a day, weekly, or any combination that suits your needs. Short-term care can be provided or regular care can be ‘stepped-up’ for a temporary period, in the event of recovery and recuperation after surgery or illness, for example
Vetted, experienced and highly trained staff – At home is where we feel most safe. For your reassurance, our friendly staff are all hand-picked by us, fully vetted and DBS checked. They wear identifiable uniforms and ID badges and are qualified and competent in the use of equipment and with medication. We never forget that during a care visit, we are a ‘guest’ in your home. We will always seek your approval and consent before assisting with any task.
