Accommodation – Our home features two recently refurbished lounges, offering residents a choice between a quiet lounge for relaxation and a lively lounge for activities. The grounds boast beautifully landscaped gardens that can be admired from our airy dining room conservatory or enjoyed during the warmer months. To help residents feel at home, they are encouraged to bring personal items from home to create a familiar and comforting environment.
Activities – Our dynamic activities co-ordinators are dedicated to inspiring and encouraging residents to engage in social activities. Some of the most popular activities include Quiz Time and Exercises to Music. Residents also enjoy outings such as boat trips, regular walks in Poole Park, and visits to Moors Valley. We frequently host entertainers, school visits, and performers at Kingland House Residential Home to keep our social calendar vibrant and engaging.
Cuisine – At Kingland House, we take pride in the high standard of fresh food prepared daily. Tracy Waite – Registered Manager
Tracy, originally from London and a Dorset resident since 1977, brings 33 years of personal and professional care experience to Kingland House. She is passionate about maintaining high standards in the care environment, leading the team with dedication and a commitment to excellence. Tracy’s experience as the previous Head of Care at Kingland has equipped her with the skills necessary to excel in her role as Registered Manager.
Olimpia Paicu – Deputy Manager
Olimpia, who moved from Romania to Dorset in 2014, began her career at Kingland House as a Care Assistant. Her passion for caring for people quickly became evident, and through hard work and dedication, she completed the necessary qualifications to become Deputy Manager.
Rachael Hodgkinson – Administrator
Rachael joined Kingland House in September 2021. Despite having no prior experience in a care home, she loves the balance of resident interaction and office work her role provides. She was pleasantly surprised by the strong family atmosphere at Kingland House and how well she fit into the team. Rachael has a strong background in administration, having worked in various office roles since leaving university. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
