Described as a ‘home from home,’ Woodland Court is a charming three-storey residential home situated on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Fareham, neighbouring Portchester and its medieval castle.
Our home is easily accessible with a nearby train station and a bus stop conveniently located at the top of the driveway. Historically, the building served as a home for children, and it continues to maintain a warm, homely ambiance.
WebsiteEmail Buckland CareAccommodation – At Woodland Court, all rooms are quiet en suite singles, with the exception of two spacious and comfortable shared rooms. Our communal areas are designed for relaxation and socialising; the airy conservatory connected to the lounge is a popular feature among residents. The interiors have been recently updated, and the seaside-themed dining room, which pays tribute to the local beaches of Fareham, is a particular highlight.
The attractive garden in front of the house offers a serene sweep of lawn with seating and a calming water feature, providing a peaceful retreat for residents to enjoy during the warmer months.
Activities – Woodland Court boasts an extensive array of entertainment and activities designed to engage and delight our residents. Regular performances by singers, visits from local libraries, and our very own mobile tuck shop and ice cream van are just a few of the highlights.
We firmly believe in the importance of keeping the body active, even for those who may be less agile than they once were. Our dedicated activities coordinator has devised a range of enjoyable pastimes to stimulate both body and mind, ensuring that every resident can participate in a fulfilling and active lifestyle.
Cuisine – Good quality, nutritious food is essential for health and well-being, which is why at Woodland Court, we ensure that all meals are locally sourced and freshly prepared each day.
Our skilled cooks produce delicious dishes, offering a balanced and interesting menu while also catering to special diets and individual preferences. Residents can look forward to enjoying tasty and nutritious meals in a welcoming and social dining environment.
